AIR Pacific has cancelled most of its international flights for today.The national airline announced that flights scheduled to depart for Auckland (FJ411), Tarawa (FJ230), Sydney (FJ915) and Tongatapu (FJ271) have been cancelled.Air Pacific wishes to advise its passengers that most of its operations on Sunday (16 December) were scheduled to depart on the day as the arrival of Tropical Cyclone Evan is not anticipated to bear its effects until early Monday morning,” the airline stated in a release.Flight schedules have been revised after an evaluation of the weather situation affecting the region and in maintaining our priority of passenger and staff safety,” stated the release.
According to Air Pacific, flights that have been cancelled would be rescheduled to depart tomorrow.The flight schedules would now operate on the following schedules:Cancelled flights Nadi-Auckland (FJ411), Auckland-Nadi (FJ410), Nadi-Tarawa (FJ231), Tarawa-Nadi (FJ230), Nadi-Sydney (FJ915), Auckland-Suva (FJ431), Suva-Auckland (FJ430)Suva-Tongatapu(Tonga) (FJ271), Tongatapu(Tonga)-Suva (FJ270).Flights rescheduled flights to depart tomorrow Nadi-Sydney (FJ911), Sydney-Nadi (FJ 910), Nadi-Los Angeles (FJ810), Los Angeles-Nadi (FJ811).Flights to be advised Auckland-Nadi (FJ412), Nadi-Brisbane (FJ923), Brisbane-Nadi (FJ922).
