Flights are canceled

The airport was closed due to thick fog last night (Wednesday), causing a flight from Aberdeen to be diverted to East Midlands, one from Manchester re-routed to Cambridge and an inbound Amsterdam flight had to land at Birmingham instead.Because the aircraft were not able to land in Norwich, that has caused some delays this morning, which have been added to by more fog.

One flight, this morning’s 6.20am KL1502 to Amsterdam, was cancelled and all other flights are currently delayed until the weather improves.A spokeswoman for the airport said passengers could keep updated with the latest news by checking the online departure and arrivals information on the airport website but added: We are checking everything in on time so if your flight is not cancelled you should arrive at the airport on time.Hopefully in the next hour or so it should clear up a bit and we have got aircraft on their way.
