National carrier Air India has rescheduled and combined some of its flights operating to and from Chennai on Saturday following the notice to airmen issued on closure of the runway for six hours between 1 pm and 7 pm for rubber removal works.The flight to Delhi will leave Chennai at 6 am instead of 6.40 am, while in the return direction, the flight will arrive from Delhi at 12.20 pm instead of 1.15 pm.Similarly, the flight to Colombo will leave Chennai at 9.20 am instead of 2.15 pm and return from Colombo at 12.40 am instead of 6 pm.The flight to Thiruvananthapuram will leave at 9.30 am instead of 5.30 am, while the flight from Male/Thiruvananthapuram will arrive at 5.15 pm instead of 2.30 pm.

The flight to Kochi via Bengaluru will leave Chennai on Saturday at 12.30 pm and reach Bengaluru at 1.20 pm.The same flight will leave Bengaluru at 1.20 pm.The same flight will leave Bengaluru at 2.10 pm and reach Kochi at 3.20 pm. The flights to Kolkata, Thiruvananthapuram/ Sharjah and Goa/Kuwait will leave at 7 pm.The flight to Hyderabad will on Saturday leave at 9 pm and return at 10.40 pm. The flight to Delhi will leave Chennai at 7.50 pm.The airline has also combined the AI 045 to Delhi with AI 430, which will depart at 10.45 am.
