Tunisia’s flag carrier, Tunisair, will operate two weekly flights to the western coastal Libyan city of Misrata, the company announced on Thursday. The move comes three weeks after Tunisair resumed the Tunis- Sfax-Tripoli line which it now serves three times a week.
Tunisair had suspended its flights to Libya when NATO set up a no-fly zone on the North African country in March 2011.The new flight is meant to help increase economic and trade ties between both countries.
