People flying from the Chicago Rockford International Airport will be able to go to Denver. Frontier Airlines will offer flights there three times a week starting December 16th. Denver is one of the top ten leisure destinations for Midwest travelers. Having flights to Denver means travelers can go there, to Las Vegas, Phoenix, Orlando, Tampa and Ft. Myers from RFD. The airport’s Interim Executive Director Amy Ott says it’s a service passengers have been asking for to return.Passengers have been asking for the return of Denver flights and we’ve heard their requests loud and clear. We are thrilled that Frontier Airlines has chosen Rockford to be among the 80 destinations it serves.
Frontier will use 138-passenger Airbus A319s on the route between RFD and DIA. Tickets will start at $99 each way and can be purchased.
