Kenya Airways has launched from this week a third weekly service linking Nairobi in Kenya to the mid-ocean tourism islands of the Seychelles.Kenya Airways is currently the only African airline to serve the Seychelles. They have been the faithful partner of Seychelles sing the 1970s and have been supportive to the tourism development of the islands. Zakiya Vidot, the Kenya Airways Manager based in Seychelles, has for many years been working in close collaboration with the Seychelles Tourism Board to develop the African market for Seychelles and also to push for twin-center holidays for the Americas, Europe, and the Far East with packages promoting Kenya and East Africa and the Seychelles.
This is why Alain St.Ange, the CEO of the Seychelles Tourism Board launched the “From the Big Five to the Best Five” promotion aimed at selling the big five African safaris and the spectacular beaches and romantic honeymoon breaks of the Seychelles, which are widely considered among the best in the world.To mark the launch of the third service to Seychelles by Kenya Airways, Bram Steller traveled to Seychelles where he hosted a cocktail attended by the island’s Vice President, Mr. Danny Faure, and by the Minister responsible for Transport, Mr. Joel Morgan.
Kenya Airways has worked with the Seychelles Tourism Board to keep the doors of Africa open for Seychelles and for the door to Seychelles opened for all those linking Africa and Seychelles. They have never been shy to get Africa to work with Africa so that Africa can continue to get stronger and stronger, said Alain St.Ange, the CEO of the Seychelles Tourism Board.
