Lufthansa on Friday became the first airline to bring the A380, the world’s largest passenger aircraft, to Miami, airport officials said.Miami-Dade Aviation Director Jose Abreu stated that,Lufthansa’s A380 service elevates Miami In ternational into an elite class of airports worldwide that are capable of receiving this groundbreaking aircraft. We congratulate Lufthansa and deeply appreciate them for helping us reach another historic milestone.

In addition to its Miami-Frankfurt route, Lufthansa said will reinstate its seasonal Miami-Dusseldorf flight with three weekly flights in October and daily flights starting in November.
