The Iraqi Ministry of Transport announced today Austrian Airlines made their first flight into Baghdad after 20 years of not flights there.The Ministry said in a statement , as received by Aswat al-Iraq, that the first Austrian Airlines flight to Baghdad will arrive in Baghdad after 20 years. On board shall be the Iraqi ambassador to Austria and Austrian Airlines’ personnel. The ministry added that this flight will assist  the arrival of foreign investors and citizens, as well as increasing the Iraqi connections with the international community.
