Gulf Air, will resume its flights to Alexandria, Egypt, on June 9. It will operate four flights weekly to accommodate growing demand on Egypt’s second largest city and popular tourism destination on the Mediterranean sea via the newly-built Burj Al-Arab Airport.
At present, Bahrain’s national carrier operates fourteen flights to Egypt weekly, on the basis of ten flights to Cairo and four to Alexandria. Gulf Air will also start operating flights to three new destinations-Afghan capital, Kabul on June 15, Copenhagen, Denmark on July 1 and Nairobi, Kenya on July5.
