Flights to Milan launched by Gulf Air

Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, which started services between Bahrain and Milan last month, has increased its frequency on the route from four to six flights per week. From July 1, Gulf Air will operate six days a week in two different schedules giving customers convenient options to choose from when they want to travel to and from Milan. On Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays the flight will depart Bahrain to reach Milan early mornings while on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays the flight will depart Bahrain late mornings to reach Milan by afternoon.

We are pleased to increase our frequency to and from Milan and add more capacity. The new route has already become popular and we are encouraged by the bookings and high level of enquiries from potential travellers. Come summer, the demand will be even higher and therefore we have decided to upgrade the route with a new Airbus A320 aircraft, which can take more people and cargo, said Gulf Air chief executive officer Samer Majali. From July 1, Gulf Air will be operating an Airbus A320 with 16 seats in Falcon Gold class and 120 in Economy class with the cargo capacity to carry four tons of freight.
