Delta will join with Air France-KLM Group to begin this weekend three new European routes out of Florida through under their trans-Atlantic joint venture.The airlines reported Friday Atlanta-based Delta on March 26 will start daily new nonstop service between Miami and London’s Heathrow Airport.
On March 27, KLM begins new nonstop flights between Miami and its hub in Amsterdam four days weekly.On June 11, Air France will begin new nonstop flight between Orlando and its Paris hub three days weekly.Operating the flights under the joint venture allows the partners to coordinate flights and share costs and revenues of the service.Delta is also adding new nonstop service between Miami and Jacksonville, Orlando and Tampa. Those flights, operated by Delta Connection carrier Comair, begin March 26.Delta is one of the largest carriers flying out of the Dayton International Airport, and operates some of the most routes from Dayton to Florida, along with AirTran Airways, a unit of AirTran Holdings
