Etihad Airways, the UAE’s national airline is to begin daily flights to India’s tech hub of Bangalore, up from the present four a week.The daily flights will begin March 25.’This latest increase in our Indian service is indicative of the huge confidence we have in this important market,’ said Neerja Bhatia, Etihad Airways’ country manager in India.
The airline provides a complimentary chauffeur service for its premium class passengers flying in and out of Bangalore Airport using Mercedes E series cars. This service is also available in Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai and Hyderabad.Etihad operates a twin-class Airbus A-320 to Bangalore, configured to carry 136 passengers, with 16 in business class and 120 in economy class.
