Sunshine Coast Airport today welcomed the establishment of a new Tiger Airways Sunshine Coast to Sydney route to start daily from March 27.
To celebrate this new service Tiger will release sale fares today from as low as $38.95 one way although some conditions apply.

Sunshine Coast Mayor Bob Abbot said it was a welcomed initiative by Tiger Airways and confirms their ongoing commitment to the Sunshine Coast.
This announcement is a fantastic shot in the arm for our tourism industry after what has been a tumultuous start to the year for the Sunshine Coast,Cr Abbot said.Whilst we dodged the damage of some of our neighbouring regions our tourism industry has been hit hard and this new service will go some way to restoring confidence back into the industry.The new service would also benefit our business community with a more business friendly departure time from the Sunshine Coast of 8.50am and arrival into Sydney at 10.25am.The new service will provide more than 130,000 seats additional seats annually into the region.
