Lufthansa Airlines today said it has increased its flights in the Mumbai-Munich route offering customers a daily connectivity between the two destinations.With this move, customers could opt to travel to Munich any day of the week as compared to five weekly flights, Lufthansa Group said in a release today.This increase further strengthens our position as Europe’’s leading connectivity provider to and from India,Lufthansa Director South Asia Axel Hilgers said.
Indian customer would get the choice of daily flights to Lufthansa’’s world class hubs at Munich and Frankfurt both offering outstanding global connectivity.The new frequencies were effective from next summer season, it said.As a result of the flight increase between Mumbai and Munich, the Lufthansa Group including its group affiliate airliner SWISS and Austrian would be operating 77 weekly frequencies from seven Indian destinations to Frankfurt, Munich, Zurich and Vienna, it said.
