Low cost carrier Air Arabia will start flights to Kabul, Afghanistan from December 16, the airline said on Sunday.The route, which will operate four times a week, is the airline’s 66th route across three hubs. Flights, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, will depart 06.00 and arrive in Kabul at 09:00. Return flights will depart from Kabul at 09:45 and arrive in Sharjah at 12:05.The launch of direct flight to Kabul, our first destination in Afghanistan, will mark another milestone in Air Arabia’s ever growing network,AK Nizar, head of Commercial Department, Air Arabia, said in a statement.Kabul is a city full of history and culture. Its strategic location along the trade routes of South and Central Asia also makes it a prime hub for trade and commerce.Last week the Sharjah-based airline posted a 5.6 percent decline in net profit for the third quarter, beating analysts’ forecast.
