American firm Continental Airlines have revealed that they have added a new late night flight to their daily Newark to Heathrow route. Offering a fifth option for those travelling back to Britain from New York State, the additional service started on 30th October 2010 and looks set to be popular with regular fliers.Chief Executive of Continental Holdings Inc, Jim Compton, explained that the new service would offer customers on this flagship route a choice of flights at popular times of the day, saying that the extra flight would keep the company at the top of its game.Offering some of the most competitive prices on the market, and including full Business First Cabin services on routes, the new flight will depart Newark at 23:05, landing at Heathrow at 10:15am. It is the ideal service for those wanting a service to Britain overnight, whether flying for business or pleasure. Meanwhile, services will also be altered at London’s Heathrow airport, with the new service providing an additional morning flight back to Newark at 8:40am.By adding the new route to their roster, Continental Airlines are ensuring that a large variety of travel opportunities are open for those flying over the Atlantic. For those coming to Britain, this means a greater variety of connections at London Heathrow, while for Brits it means that a few more happy hours can be spent in New York State before travelling home from their holidays.
