British Airways has cancelled its flights for Sunday and Monday and moved the time of its Saturday flight forward in anticipation of an extended airport closure.BA announced this evening that its Saturday flight from London would be arriving three hours early at 3.20 pm Saturday. The outbound flight to London is scheduled to depart three hours early tomorrow leaving at 5.05 pm with check-in commencing at 2.30 pm.In a press release BA suggested that the airport would be closed on Sunday and Monday. The Bermuda Sun understands the facility is likely to close just after the BA flight leaves on Saturday, but the EMO has yet to confirm this.
In a statement BA said: British Airways Sunday and Monday flights have now been cancelled as the airport will be closed.
