Qatar Airways will increase its flights to Germany from 21 to 35 a week, the national carrier announced.The decision was made during two-days of talks between the civil aviation authorities of both countries in Doha, the Gulf Times reports on Thursday.

No date for when the additional flights will commence was announced.An official told the paper the deal would assist the movement of passengers and cargo and boost trade between the two nations.The update of this bilateral framework is in line with the policy of Qatar to adopt open skies policy with various countries to connect the Doha International Airport as an operational network with the international airports, and to update current air transport agreements as well as conclude new agreements with brotherly and friendly countries, the official told the paper.
