A Turkish private airlines company will launch additional flights to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus TRNC.Atlasjet said in a statement Tuesday that it would launch additional flights from Istanbul to the TRNC in an effort to solve problems stemming from suspension of Cyprus Turkish Airlines KTHY flights.
The additional flights from Istanbul to the TRNC will take place at 10:00 p.m. on Wednesdays and at 8:00 p.m. on Fridays while additional flights from the TRNC to Istanbul will be at 7:30 a.m. on Thursdays and at 11:30 p.m. on Fridays.Earlier on Tuesday, the civil aviation authority of the TRNC suspended all flights conducted by the country’s national air carrier KTHY because of KTHY’s financial problems.
