Yemenia Airways has launched on Tuesday June 8, its new regional route Sana’a- Guangzhou and opened the new branch of Yemenia Airways office in China.Yemenia Airways has celebrated on the inauguration at Dubai International Airport prior its arrival in China; the ceremony was attended by officials from Yemenia and officials at Dubai International Airport.
As the Yemenia first flight arrived in Guangzhou, a ceremony was held in this occasion; the ceremony included performances and highly praised joint Yemeni-China folkloric.Yemen Ambassador to China, Abdul-Malik Al-Moalemi stated that the new line will contribute in increasing the number of passengers and offers new features to the Yemeni community in China, according to Saba News Agency.However, Deputy General Director for Commercial Affairs at Yemenia Muneer Jahoush declared that the launch of this line came according to economic studies that showed the need for opening a new line to China, in addition to increasing the bilateral trade ties between both Republics.
Jahoush also reviewed the successes achieved by Yemenia Airways and its services to the customers. He stressed that Yemenia will open new routes to Dar Al-Salaam, Nairobi and Lagos of Africa, as well as new routes to Amsterdam and Stockholm.A high ranked official at the Chinese Foreign Ministry stated that this new route to China, expresses the depth of the Yemeni-Chinese relationship. Additionally, he stressed his country’s keenness to strengthen relations with Yemen and access to wide horizons to include different fields.Meanwhile, Director of Yemenia Office in Guangzhou, Abdulla Kassim revealed that Sana’a-Guangzhou line will provide services to the people of the huge Yemeni community in China and Arabs generally, as well as businessmen and investors of both countries.The ceremony has been attended by Yemeni-China officials, in addition to representatives of the Yemeni-Chinese media outlets.
