Germany has decided to keep all its airports open for now, while ash down from Iceland’s Eyjafjallajokull volcano forced United Kingdom to shut down several airports across England, Ireland and Scotland. In a move welcomed by Lufthansa Airlines, German Aerospace Center sent a test flight on Sunday morning to detect ash concentration and based on its results, announced that there is no need of closing any of its airports until Wednesday morning.Munich, Frankfurt, Berlin, Dusseldorf, Cologne, Stuttgart and Hanover airports in Germany remain open, despite meteorological predictions of ash cloud over the German skies.
